From Bversity we are super excited to host our first flagship event on February 5, 2023 at IIT Research park, Chennai.
Around 6 lakh biotechnology students pass out every year across India, but about 85% of the graduates are confused and clueless about their career path. The major motive behind the conclave is to,
1. Raise awareness among students about the enormous opportunities and avenues biotechnology offers.
2. Providing the students arena to exhibit their startup ideas, inventions, and research.
3. Expose students who are aspiring to a career in Biotechnology to diverse areas in applied biotechnology

What do we solve for ?
Unemployability in Biotech industry due to lack of relevant industry skills.
According to NITI Aayog, by the year 2025 India’s youth population will hit a staggering figure of over 600 million. And, the number of students opting for biotechnology and related studies has increased from 2 million to 5 million over the last 5 years. But the lack of resources & infrastructure in colleges for biotechnology students' skill development reduces their opportunity to a whopping 20%. This figure is only going to increase for the worse if not solved for it now.
